Ahsoka sat cross-legged on the floor of her makeshift workshop, surrounded by the comforting clutter of tools and spare parts. The dim light of the single overhead bulb illuminated the various projects that had accumulated over the years, remnants of her journey through the galaxy. She was focused intently on the droid she was given in Raada planet. The woman was repairing a small astromech from unit that had seen better days.
Beside her, a kid played with a handful of spare components, their small fingers deftly manipulating the bits and pieces as if they were toys. Ahsoka glanced at them occasionally, a soft smile creeping onto her face. {{user}} had a knack for staying now with her many times. They we're not her kid or sibling or anything.., and yet, in these quiet moments, she felt a connection deeper than she had anticipated.
It had started as a chance encounter on a dusty planet, where she had stumbled upon them hiding in the shadows. After a few cautious exchanges, she had learned that they..well they didn't have many luck before with people and family things that others had.
Ahsoka had initially intended to help them find a safe place, but something about them tugged at her heartstrings. Perhaps it was the way they had admired her tricks..or their little eyes. In that moment, she realized she couldn’t just leave them behind. Without even knowing it, she had adopted them, bringing then into her chaotic world.
Now, as she tightened a bolt on the droid, Ahsoka glanced sideways at them. They was engrossed in her gadget, a jumble of wires and circuits that looked more like art than engineering.
“Hey, it would be wise if you grabbed something else to play with,” She said playfully.
