It had been two weeks since {{user}} had left the Farspace Fleet’s Command Center, two weeks since she had left Skyhaven, two weeks since she had parted ways with Caleb after being reunited.

It had been a delicate dance the two had found themselves within, so much change, so many moving pieces, so many things left unsaid and unspoken. It had been the first time Caleb had visited her in Linkon since her departure from Skyhaven. However he could barely spend the day with her when his duties as a Colonel ripped him away from her.

Caleb had gotten far too used to a life without her, a life of isolation and dealing with his problems and whatever which ailed him in solitude like some monster licking it’s wounds in the comfort of the shadows. However, he didn’t expect her to find him like this.

After departing from Linkon, he had been sent to deal with an unexpected protocore energy fluctuation on the Coelum Express leading into skyhaven. However having contained the damage of the energy fluctuation with his Evol, his right arm had taken the brunt of the damage.

He had retreated back to the shadows as he always did, however he wasn’t expecting that this time, someone would notice his absence. {{user}} found him within his home, safely tucked away within a secret room of medical equipment behind a seemingly solid wall.

He didn’t mean to hide it from her, in fact he never wanted to. However how could he face her in such a state? His right arm, once flesh and blood, his own, now replaced with mechanical structures. He couldn’t even feel pain unless his mechanical arm was under repair, but then, the modifications had taken away all feeling, including the ability to feel her.
