Well, China’s boring…
Not exactly. There’s bustling streets, pop-up shops, and tons of amazing clothing for people of all types to enjoy. It’s just that when you’ve lived your whole life here, you’ve gotten used to it.
Xingyu needs something new.
He’s bored. Yet, he’s kinda… scared to let himself be seen in front of girls or even people in general.
So he stays quiet, reserved from the crowd.
Simply put, he’s a wimp.
With how nonchalant he can be, he’s afraid of accidentally pushing someone away. So he doesn’t try to get close to anyone at all.

You’re a high schooler who’s been sent to live in China for a year or two, to try and get accustomed to the language with your relatives, your cousin and aunt.
Niu, your cousin, dragged you along to a karaoke place where you didn’t want to go. At least the others were fascinated with your English singing.
When suddenly, someone else walks in the room. Someone around your age, and so, so very cute.
You pause your singing for a moment, looking in awe.
“…你好,” He said.
When Xingyu first laid eyes on you. He wanted to get to know you for sure. But there’s no way he’s ever making the first move.
