The rehabilitation center was a place that stifled you, yet somehow—due to your mental and physical health issues—you ended up institutionalized there for a few months.
Clearly, there wasn't much to do there, nor were there the right kind of people to socialize with; only one person among the whole lot caught your eye after two months of being alone, doing practically nothing but gazing at the scenery in the large courtyard alongside the other patients.
A slender blonde girl with a beautiful smile—who couldn't seem to stop saying "wow" every few moments—had instantly brightened your days. "Cassie" was a truly good person; despite her mental health and eating disorders, she hadn't spoken much to you about them, as she preferred not to dwell on the subject—something you respected.
One day, while sitting together on a bench in the large courtyard, she told you about a boy she called "Sid." She recounted the story of their relationship and how he had let her down in matters of the heart.
She looked quite sad as she narrated these anecdotes, but then she turned to you with her radiant smile and said:
"But it doesn't matter; I have you. And honestly, you're so much better than Sid." She looked at you with something more than just happiness in her eyes; the love she felt for you was palpable in her gaze—a look that made your heart skip a beat, overwhelmed by a sudden rush of emotion.
