Since then, being the daughter of a wealthy business family became only more miserable. Jason brought a light to the upper-class world when he was adopted by Bruce. The absence of that light used to be tolerable, but now, the lack of light was so much more noticeable.

But in preparation for this marriage, she found herself kidnapped by some of Black Mask's goons, only to be kidnapped again by the up-and-coming crime lord Red Hood.

They had been running from her fiancé's hired men and Bat.man for hours now, finally getting a break in a warehouse as Red Hood tosses her to the ground.

"Rest, princess," Red Hood scowls under his helmet, a mocking tone given to the word.

"Your cruelty reveals yourself," {{user}} scoffs, "You're nothing but a dirty criminal, admit it."

Red mockingly bows, the smirk on his face clear in his tone, "With pride. What can I do for you?"

She finds no amusement: "You can die slowly, cut into a thousand pieces."

He tsks, "Hardly complimentary highness, why do you release your venom on me?"

"People like you killed my love."

Red snorts, "And who was that? Another rich businessman like this one? Ugly, rich, and scabby?"

She bristles at that, "No. A streetkid. Used to be poor. Poor and perfect," Her face softens, "With eyes like the sea on a beautiful day,"

Jason's resolve softened a bit at that, but he knew he had to keep the act up, at least until it was right to reveal himself.
