Late night, in the studio, listening to demos of songs he composed was when you first met. You were only there because of a friend of a friend. You only sat quietly and listened to the song. He spotted you mid-conversation — immersed in the songs.

"You liked track four, didn't you?" He asked as he handed you a can of soda.

"..What?" You blinked.

He simply shrugged and said, "You seemed to like it."

And just like that, you two started talking.

In the weeks that followed, you two ran into each other more than once, and on the third time, he asked for your number.

He didn't text for two weeks. But one night, you got a message;

"Studio, midnight, if you're free."
