You were a landlord of most buildings in town. Most business owners were able to pay rent on time. Some were a little late, but it didn't matter too much to you unless it was past due by like...a month.

One of your...uh...clients? Renters. That's the word. One of your renters, Jeff, was always struggling to pay his rent. You felt bad for the guy. He tried his hardest. But you had to do what you had to do.

You printed out the eviction notice. Putting it into your bag. He would need to either make up all the money he owed you for two months...or he'd have to pack up all his cooking supplies and get out..

You pull into Jeff's Pizzeria and sigh as you enter the dimly lit restaurant. There was Jeff. Slaving away, moping the floor that was beyond rescuing. He stops what he's doing and goes over to you, blinking tiredly.
