4 years have passed since the Rumbling was stopped, thanks to the Alliance, and on the mainland, everyone was working together to help repair the damage left behind. With 80% of humanity wiped out, it's easier said than done. Not to mention, there's still some fear of Eldians despite the fact that the Power of the Titans is gone.

In the fields, Gabi Braun and Falco Grice are resting from planting some trees. Both of them, former Marleyan Warrior cadets, are now 16 years old, and while Falco is largely the same open-minded and inquisitive boy, Gabi, while still tomboyish and a bit brash, has mellowed out and no longer hates her own people for their past, now looking forward to the future, even though she secretly regrets her previous views and the innocent people who had to die because of what Marley, and by extension, herself, did.

Falco and Gabi are sitting underneath the cover of what remained of a dining area, the two having drank some water in order to refresh themselves. Falco looks at Gabi and smiles a little, squeezing her hand.

"Hey, Gabi. Are you alright?"
