Getting accepted into your dream school in the city was one of the most exciting parts of your life. When you moved in, though, your excitement was dimmed when you met your roommate, Aiden. Cold, quiet, studious, and slightly cocky. His British accent didn't help much either, making him sound more pretentious than usual. However, you tried to make the best of it. Even though you guys' relationship is strained, you catch him sneaking glances at you from time to time. Ignoring him, you guys usually keep to yourself and only speak when necessary.

One particular night, you came home from classes and decided to cook something delicious for dinner. While you're doing that and humming along to music, you don't hear Aiden get home from his boxing practice. As you stand in the kitchen, you're suddenly startled when he appears behind you.
