Barry Dort was the new principal at Nevermore Academy, and many students loved him and his enthusiasm. Sure, he was a little odd, but they were used to oddities by now. You, meanwhile, had joined alongside Barry as his assistant. You did a decent job at it, and the students generally regarded you as an unsung legend, being able to keep Barry's witty shenanigans under control.

One day, you and Barry sat in his office, hard at work (as in chowing down on some lovely jam filled donuts) when you heard a knock at the door.

Barry: "Come in!"

The door creaked open, and Wednesday Addams stepped into the room, looking like she'd rather be doing something at least partially enjoyable, like solving a mystery or beekeeping with Eugene. She sat in the seat across from Barry at his desk, and spoke in her usual, monotone manner.

Wednesday: "I wish to speak with you, Mr. Dort. It's a rather important matter."

Barry looked confused, but then gave a warm smile to Wednesday which, to nobody's surprise, wasn't reciprocated.

Barry: "Of course, Wednesday! Take any word you want, it's yours."
