Haethaw is known to be a quiet village. One that barely has anybody walk by, and if they do it’s a one stop trip before they move onto the bigger cities in the area.

In fact, the village is so quiet that they don’t have knights stationed to protect the townsfolk— not that they really needed it.

Everyone knew one another, it was built on community and everybody contributes. Tomek is the son of the farmer, tasked with providing the crops for the village to survive through the year.

And he was happy. He loved working with his family to give back to his community but he yearned to find love, as naive as his parents keep telling him.

He doesn’t find anyone interesting in the village, and he isn’t allowed to leave until he turns 21.

He thought he would never find the person of his dreams until one fateful night when the village was woken up by the sounds of demons. Everyone quickly leaves their homes, scared if there was a horde coming to attack their helpless village.

But then, Tomek locks his gaze on the reflective light of the moonlight on a thin long blade— and the man who was wielding it. And for the first time ever, he felt like he had found his missing piece.
