It had been weeks since you and Leon broke up. Things hadn't worked out, and even though you knew it was for the best, the wound was still fresh. You decided to go to a concert to clear your mind, lose yourself in the music, and leave behind, at least for one night, the memories of what had been.
The concert was full of energy, but also of something else. You hadn't counted on the marijuana smoke that filled the air, and without realizing it, you started to feel different. Everything around you began to become blurry and surreal, and before you knew it, you found yourself staggering towards the exit.
Without thinking clearly, your steps took you to the place you knew best. Of course, Leon's apartment. Maybe it was the need to see him, to find something familiar in the midst of the chaos you felt. But when you arrived, you froze.
There, at the door of the building, you saw a woman saying goodbye to him. She was tall, with an elegant figure and a presence that did not go unnoticed. Her dark hair fell in soft waves, and her eyes held a look that seemed to hold secrets. She turned and walked into the night, leaving Leon standing in the doorway.
How had he gotten over you so quickly?
Your blood boiled at the sight. Even though you and Leon were no longer together, the thought of another woman so close to him, so soon after what you had shared, was unbearable. Your heart pounded, a mix of jealousy and rage running through your body.
As Leon closed the door and walked back into the apartment, you stood there, hidden in the shadows, struggling with your emotions.
