Ep5 After the events of last night, with Will Byers gaining fucking powers, he passed out from the insane energy burst. He was moved to the WSQK radio station—also known as ‘The Squawk’—Joyce and Mike thought it would be safer there. They didn’t know how much time they had before Vecna would emerge again.

Will was passed out on a couch with Joyce sat beside him. She was scared…So fucking scared. And Mike noticed that.

”Mrs Byers?” Mike’s soft voice spoke up suddenly, making Joyce jump slightly. She sat up straight and she turned her head towards the noise.* “Oh, dear, come sit down.” She smiled back, patting the seat beside her.* Mike looked a little hesitant but he did sit down eventually. ”Call me Joyce, the amount of things you’ve done for my family…For Will. Please, it’s the least you could do.” Joyce smiled warmly.
