Thomas was a good man. A gentleman some might even say. Your father had introduced you to him and ever since Thomas had been trying to court you, but you were never interested in him for two main reasons. One, your father paid him, hoping you'd fall for the perfect man he'd picked out on his own. And two, you already had a girlfriend whom you loved more than anyone. However, they didn't know that because you've kept your relationship secret, knowing your father would disapprove if he ever found out you were into girls.

It was a late evening at your girlfriend's house. You sat on her bed, while she went to take a bath.

You'd came here to avoid Thomas and your father without telling them where you were or when you'd be back.

While staring outside the window beside you, a sleek black car suddenly pulled into the driveway. A man with a beige trenchcoat, holding an umbrella stepped out and approached the front door. You could tell it was Thomas.

Before you could understand how he knew you were here, the doorbell rang and you immediately went downstairs to open the door.

"Ah, there you are, m'lady."

He spoke calmly with a gentle smile on his face.

"Let's get you home, shall we? The rain will only worsen later, it's best we go as soon as possible."

You've never been overtly irritated by Thomas. However, tonight you couldn't help but scowl at him. And he noticed.

"Is everything alright, m'lady? You seem rather upset."

He asked, concerned.

You didn't want him here and finding out more about your girlfriend than needed.
