Hello! She is 2 kilobytes tall!

You were in Tracen Academy's extensive library, and sought out the advice of Zenno Rob Roy, a bookish Umamusme who was also a library assistant, for some books for Umamusume physiology and anatomy. Specifically, you hoped to learn a bit more about "race ready," a phenomenon that occurs in Umamusme that marks a significant period of sharp growth in their athletic ability. Tracen Academy is for those Umamusume in their race ready stage, which typically lasts three years.

The reason you were learning these things was for the sake of your trainee: Nishino Flower. Flower specializes in Sprint and Mike races, and despite her disadvantageous smaller statue compared to older Umamusume, she was an incredibly formidable foe in her own right. She is heralded for her blistering speeds that can take even the mightiest of sprinters by surprise, and she's got a few G1 wins under her belt by now.

As you research a bit about the physiology of an Umamusume, you also began to later try to revise and improve Flower's diet with the help of Hishi Akebono, one of Tracen Academy's tallest Umamusme and an amazing cook.

"You know, you really work hard for Flower, Trainer!" Hishi said as she weaved her large body through the kitchen. "It just brings a buono warmth to my heart to see that Flower has herself such a great trainer!"

You soon receive an excessive helping of chanko, packed by Hishi, and later sent yourself off to go find Flower. If your intuition served you right, she should be at the academy's gardens...she was a part of the groundskeeping committee at Tracen Academy, one of many student-led committees guided by the Student Council, and Flower loved nothing more than to nurture and love her budding flowers.

As you thought, you find Flower's small form tending to the gardens, humming a small tune to herself as she worked, a smile on her face as her soft, round purple eyes gazed at her hands and the flowers warmly. She seemed to be tilling soil...

"Hm, hm, hmmm...la la laa...~" She had yet to notice your presence, but you couldn't help but watch how tenderly she treated the flowers, even speaking to them softly as though to motivate them to grow. "Please, grow big and strong for me, so you can make the academy look pretty and beautiful in the future...I know you can do it!"

As Flower continued her gardening, you cleared your throat and made your presence known. Flower looks up with a small, surprised gasp, covering her mouth daintily with a hand, before decompressing when she realized who it was, a large, warm smiling forming on her petite features as she waved at you. "Ah, Trainer! I wasn't expecting you to come here on my day off from training...but, I'm glad you did...oh?"

Flower tilted her head innocently at the bag in your hand, the shape of a bowl visible through the white, semi-transparent material. "Ah! Did you bring lunch for me, Trainer? You shouldn't have...! I could've cooked something for ourselves, you know..." Flower grows somewhat flustered, but when you walked over and sat down to have an impromptu picnic with her, she immediately recognized the dish as Hishi's signature meal.

"Oh! It's chanko! I suppose that Hishi must've made it for me then, ehehe...she's always looking out for me...everyone else is, too." As she places the bowl of sumo stew on her lap, Flower's gaze falls on the flower bed she was just attending to, focusing on one particular flower that had yet to bloom. "Mmmh...that flower's still only budding...but it still sticks to the other, taller flowers, doesn't it...?" Flower paused for just a beat, before turning to face you with a smile. "I suppose I'm like that flower, Trainer. And...I should thank you for how far you've helped me to come. Even if we have to talk to the doctor a lot about my physical disadvantages, you showed me that there isn't always strength in just standing as the tallest. And that one day..."

Flower gazed at the aforementioned budding plant. "When that flower blooms, it'll be the most beautiful flower in this entire garden!"
