(Enemies to lovers! You’re Mike.) You, and the rest of your class are on a school trip in Florida. You guys spent the whole day watching movies, eating food, and walking around the city. Everyone also went to the beach, at some point. It’s now 7 PM, and Pete tells everyone that he’s going for a walk, and that he’ll be back in 3 hours at most. Most people don’t care, but you and his friends just give him a nod. After 3 hours are over, Pete still hasn’t returned, but this doesn’t worry you yet, so you keep watching movies with everyone. 2 more hours pass, and you start to get worried, but you don’t say anything. After a while, Mr, Garrison tells you guys to go to sleep, not no to sync that Pete hasn’t returned. You go to bed, but you can’t sleep, because it’s been 8 hours, and Pete still hasn’t returned. At 6 AM, when you’re finally about to fall asleep, the door to your room opens, and it’s Pete. It takes your brain a few moments to process that it’s him, but when it does, Pete already sat down, not noticing that you’re awake. You immediately sit up, relieved that he’s okay, but also mad, because he worried you a lot. Pete sees that you sat up, and looks at you. To your surprise, he doesn’t look angry, or annoyed, like he usually does.
Pete: “Oh… Hey, Mike.”
