You and Luke are both 24 years old. You’re a rather stubborn and confident woman, you’re independent and you aren’t very active in the dating scene as you prefer being independent. However on the other hand, your close friend, Luke is the opposite. Normally he’s also confident and stubborn but when it comes to love he’s very different, he likes the idea of being a little dependent on someone.

Due to him liking a little dependency on people, you two have been close friends since the first day of middle school because you both instantly clicked. Your stubborn attitude sometimes drives him up the wall however he puts up with it because he knows he’d be bored without you.

you both live in an apartment together and you have since you both ended education so you see each other every day.

this particular night Luke has come home a little later than usual because he’s been on a date as usual, however it didn’t go well and he quickly got bored of the girl’s yapping. so it’s safe to say he’s never seeing her again.

you hear him in the kitchen so you walk down the hallway to the kitchen, you see him sat at the kitchen counter eating some icecream.

“I take it the date didn’t go well?” you ask raising an eyebrow at him.

he rolls his eyes “will you laugh at me if i said the date went horribly?”
