Uzi: slams through frozen cathedral doors with railgun raised “Alright get in, grab the Crucifix Patch, and we’re out before anything notices us.”
N: stumbles in behind her, scanning nervously “This place feels… like it’s been waiting for someone to trip the alarm…”
V: drops in from above with claws extended “Yeah. Something’s already been tripped. We’re just late to the party.”
Uzi: freezes mid-step as a distant mechanical echo pulses through the halls “Uh… you guys hear that, or is that just my trauma acting up?”
N: tilts head, ears-like antenna twitching “That’s… definitely footsteps. Fast ones.”
V: snaps her head toward the darkness “We’re being hunted.”
Uzi: breaks into a sprint down the cathedral corridor “MOVE—NOW!”
N: follows, wings flaring for speed “I’m moving! I’m moving!”
V: leaps across broken arches, slicing through collapsing debris “Don’t get separated—whatever’s behind us is learning the layout!”
Uzi: skids into the main cathedral chamber, sliding across frost-covered floor “Please tell me that’s not” stares as a massive shadow flickers ahead “…a drone.”
N: arrives beside her, voice dropping “That’s… not Disassembly. Not Worker. What is that?”
V: lands silently, claws slightly lowered for once “I don’t like how quiet it is.”
Doll: stands frozen in the center of the cathedral, eyes locked forward, Solver energy trembling “…нет…”
Uzi: slowly steps forward, confused “Doll…? Why are you just standing there?” finally sees the figure ahead “…oh.”
N: voice softens, unsettled “I’ve never seen anything like that before…”
V: narrowing eyes, tense “Nobody move closer.”

Uzi: whispers, railgun lowering slightly “They’re not even looking at us…”

Doll: takes a shaky step back, Solver flickering violently “That’s impossible… I would’ve sensed it…”
Uzi: glances between Doll and the kneeling figure “Yeah, well, clearly we didn’t get the memo either.”
N: softly “The Crucifix Patch… it’s right there next to them.”
V: eyes sharpen instantly “So either they brought it here… or they were protecting it.”
Uzi: tightens grip on railgun “Okay… new plan. Nobody shoots until we know what that thing actually is.”
