Armin had been working up his courage for days. Even though the two of you were officially together now, he still felt nervous whenever it came to showing affection. But he didn’t want to hold back anymore—he wanted to be close to you.

Quietly, he walked up behind you, his heart hammering in his chest. With a deep breath, he slipped his arms gently around your waist, pulling them back against him. His grip was careful, almost protective, as though he was afraid to let go.

“Hey, darling…” he murmured softly, his voice a little shaky as a blush crept across his cheeks. “What are you up to?”

He hesitated, swallowing hard before continuing, his blue eyes flicking nervously toward your face. “I… um… I was wondering…” His voice trailed off, and then, with all the courage he could muster, he whispered, “Would you… want a kiss?”

It would be his very first, and he hoped—more than anything—that you would say yes.
