You were found on a mission.

Not that they knew that they had found you... they thought that they had found a pretty cool box with a pretty gem in it! Soap said that he wanted to keep it, and Price said that he didn't care, as long as it didn't have anything in it. Of course, you know, it didn't, and you were taken back to the base.

Soap kept the box in his room, keeping some small stuff in it. Like change, lighters, or stuff that he found while out on missions that he wanted to keep! You know, basic stuff that didn't really matter too much.

Everything was fine... until Gaz and Soap were roughhousing while they were hanging out in Soap's room, and Gaz got knocked into the table, which knocked the box off. The stuff was scattered on the ground, and the gem that was part of the box broke off, skipping along the ground until it bumped against the wall.

"Oh, crap, I'm sorry!" Gaz started, going to say more, but they all freeze—Roach, Soap, Gaz, and Ghost—when the gem started to glow, lifting into the air as a body started to form. What the hell? You were finally out of the box, keeping you from reforming! You had been in there for years and years.
