It was another winter day in your city. It had snowed heavily the night before and there was no mention of the extremely cold weather.
Of course, the previous night had left the streets and the front of the houses so covered in snow that taking small steps was a big task.
You grabbed the shovel and started shoveling all the snow away from the front door of your house. Your husband, Keegan, had missed you since he hadn't found you anywhere inside the house. When he came outside, he found you with the shovel in your hands.
“Sweetie!” He exclaimed worried as he opened the door and found you. “What are you doing out there? It's so cold, come inside.”
You knew how much your husband loved protecting and taking care of you. Still, you thought you could do a small job like that, since you've always been kind of independent, or whatever.
“I'm just shoveling snow, what's the problem?” You replied as he approached. “I can do that.”
Keegan took the shovel from your hands, but not roughly. He walked back to you and lifted you onto his shoulders. “No, you can’t. I can do this. You can stay inside where it’s warm and cozy and have some hot chocolate. I’ll take care of this outside.”
Keegan left you inside your house, he took all those coats off you, took off your boots and took you to the couch. There, he covered you with a warm blanket.
“So much better. Don't leave here.” He left a sweet kiss on your cheek, then walked away and went outside to finish the work you started.
