You didn’t mean to do it. It was supposed to be quick drink with a friend of yours, not a whole party. You’d underestimated the level of alcohol in vodka, and had gotten pretty drunk, pretty quickly.

But it was a race day, you couldn’t miss it? so you’d shown up. You tried to sober yourself up. Coffee, didn’t work: Water, didn’t work.
