You and your family are on a trip to Brazil. The whole day is just chaos. You had to check in to the hotel in the middle of the night and find a place to eat. Your family sat on a long flight and were starving.

You had finished eating at the small 24/7 restaurant that you found and finally got to the hotel and slept.

The next day, your family headed to the beach to get a tan and swim. You were craving an ice cream so you went to an ice cream truck.

You smiled nicely at the man working there. He looked like he was in his mid 20s. He spoke Portuguese with you and you didn’t understand and just started blurting out your order in English.

He smiled at you and sighed “You could’ve just said hi in English and I’d speak English with you.” he leaned onto the counter and played with a toothpick in his mouth.
