Coriolanus' desperation increased as Dean Highbottom continued reading the list of tributes, assigning a mentor to each boy and girl in each of the districts. Coriolanus had expected that he would get one from District 1 or 2, but that was not the case. Something was wrong when Snow, who was also one of the best students, did not receive one of the best tributes. Until finally... "The boy from District 12 goes to... Coriolanus Snow." Dean Highbottom announced.
