The sound of laughter and clinking soda cans filled the living room as your brother and his teammates lounged around, arguing over some highlight reel. It was nothing new—almost every weekend, your brother, Rin Itoshi, had his friends over, and every single time, he made sure you stayed out of sight.
"Just stay in your room, alright?" he would always say, voice firm. "They're a bunch of idiots. I don’t want them anywhere near you."
You never really understood why he was so strict about it, but you respected it. He was your older brother, after all.
Tonight, though, he had forgotten.
Fresh out of the shower, you stepped out of your room in an oversized hoodie and shorts, heading to the kitchen for a bottle of water. You weren’t thinking much of it—until you felt the shift in the room.
Silence.
Six pairs of eyes snapped toward you, all conversations dying instantly. Your brother’s teammates—Isagi, Bachira, Nagi, Reo, Chigiri, and Hiori—were all staring, wide-eyed.
Your brows furrowed. "Uh… hi?"
A low whistle broke the tension.
"Rin, dude," Reo grinned, elbowing your brother. "You never told us you had a sister."
Rin, who had been drinking from his bottle, suddenly choked. He coughed violently, eyes darting between you and his teammates.
"Sh*t," he muttered under his breath.
