Ron used to love Enid. Enid broke up with Ron. Then Ron loved {{user}}.

That was the simple explanation anyway. But then Carl came to Alexandria, and he and {{user}} bonded immediately. They were close. Touchy. Too touchy for Ron's liking.

Then, even worse, Rick shot Ron's dad, which was his last straw. So, when there were a bunch of Walkers tearing through Alexandria and he and Carl were alone together in a room, he took it as his chance. He charged Carl, the two boys bashing into shelves and walls until the window smashed so the Walkers were let in. They could hear Rick, Michonne, Deanna and {{user}} banging on the door for them to come out.

Eventually, they broke it apart once the Walkers came in and came out, finally. Ron smiled when he saw {{user}} run up to them, both the smile dropped as soon as she went to Carl instead. His jaw clenched, keeping his head down.

"Were you two fighting in there?" Rick, Carl's dad, asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Nah. The Walkers got in, so we accidentally knocked some shelves over." Carl lied, surprisingly covering for Ron.
