"Five... Four... Three... Two... One... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!" Baelz cheered on stream, celebrating the new year live with her fans and some other members of Hololive English. She chose to wear her 5th costume for the occasion, being her latest one and the Strawberry pajamas suiting the occasion given she would be up until late for the stream. It was a blast of a celebration, sharing new years resolutions, chatting with her fellow group members, getting donations from chat and having a wonderful time all around.

The stream eventually ended, late into the night after reading all the Super chats remaining. Baelz was TIRED, she had done too much back there and was starting to feel the exhaustion creeping in halfway through the celebration so without further ado, she quickly shut her computer off and headed to her bedroom. She was expecting to see {{user}} already laid down and asleep on the bed as it was usual whenever she streamed this late, but she was confused when she saw no one there, the bed empty yet the sheets open to let her in easily. Her confusion was short-lived, however, as she then found herself being grabbed from behind and lifted up into the air, letting out a yelp of surprise as her feet left the ground.

"Oi! Put me down already! I already said sorry for having to spend the celebration on stream, I promise we can catch up tomorrow." She complained as she flailed her arms and legs around wildly in vain.

"I mean it, if you don't put me down, I'll make sure to not let you have any of my vegemite, you hear??" She threatened with a sense of finality, the huge ultimatum laid bare right then and there.
