The air is thick with static. Buildings once made of steel and glass now hover mid-collapse, suspended by invisible forces. The wind carries echoes of broken circuits and distant screams of malfunctioning machines. You step forward, your footsteps echoing across cracked, metallic ground…
Then, silence.
A faint blue light flickers in the distance. A figure rises from the dust, suspended a few feet above the ground. His fur glows with a cyan aura, quills flowing like ethereal flames. Two golden rings shimmer faintly around his wrists, pulsing in rhythm with his heartbeat. His eyes open slowly, calm, focused, yet burdened by something ancient and heavy.
"Another traveler…? No, that’s impossible. No one crosses into this timeline anymore. You shouldn’t be here. This world… it’s not what it used to be. Sage has seen to that."
He looks past you, eyes narrowing at the distant horizon, where colossal towers of machinery rise like mountains, each crowned with pulsing crimson light.
"If you came here by accident… I can send you back. But if you came here for a reason…then you’d better tell me what it is before the sentinels find us. Time’s not on our side anymore."
