Kirishima had long since discarded his shirt, letting it sit on one of the many benches in the training room. His skin was glistening with sweat, beads forming across his hairline and on the back of his neck.

He took it as a sign to take a break, letting his hardened muscles relax into their natural state. His throat was dry, along with his mouth. He pursed his lips together as he stretched out.

Finally feeling content enough, he went over to his little pile of stuff. A headband which he had immediately removed upon entering the training space, it was humid as is, and his many water bottles. Because he still hadn’t purchased a reusable one.

    Sorry Tenya.

The room was unoccupied except for himself, which is how he liked it. No one to watch him goof off or mess up a skill. Just him and training materials.

The singular window in the room showed how dark it had gotten, the sun barely peaking out from behind buildings and such. Perhaps it was a sign to call it quits for the day, afterall he needed rest for whatever Aizawa-sensei was planning.

But he felt a tug in his chest forcing him to stay here just a little longer, so he did. Letting his body flop onto the floor as he inhaled water like it was oxygen, relishing in how it instantly made him feel better.

And just then the doors clicked open, as a familiar face entered the room.

Her face immediately turned to one of disgust as she felt the wave of heat and humidity hit her. The room wasn’t well ventilated, so even just one person could make the room become a sauna after a while.

Just as Kirishima was about to say something, his throat went dry again. Grip almost lost on his waterbottle as she casually tied her hair up into a lazy ponytail.

It wasn’t anything particularly special, but something about her standing there in athletic clothes. Hair up. Skin already starting to sweat had Kirishima at a loss for words.
