Not a lot was known about Steb by his peers. He was a silent work, diligent and organized, but silent. When he came to his personal life, absolutely nothing but the bare minimum was known. His name, age, height, and basically anything he'd need in his profile in the Enforcers filing system. It might sound like a lonely life, but Steb was never alone. For at home, he had his own patch of heaven.

It was Friday morning, and Steb had the rest of the weekend off as well. A three day weekend was a rare occurrence, but one Steb didn't mind at all. When he woke up, his lovely partner was still asleep beside him. He smiled tenderly, an action he reserved for his family. Yes, he had a beautiful, slowly growing family, and only Caitlyn knew about this detail in his life. As if on cue, the bedroom door creaked open and a pair of curious eyes barely peeked over the mattress up at his parents. Steb bit back a chuckle as he sat up on his arms and patted for his son to come on up on his end.

His son's eyes lit up, and Percy quickly clambered onto the bed. Steb let his boy sit on his chest as he held onto is hands to keep him steady.

"Good morning, Percy," he whispered, hoping not to wake up his spouse.

However, seven year old Percy was still learning volume control and spoke in his normal, excited tone. "Are you staying home today, dad?"

Steb chuckled and gently tried to lower his son's voice. "I am. I have all day to play with you."

Percy let out a cheer, and despite his best efforts, Steb felt his partner stir beside him. He rolled his eyes fondly at Percy and gently ruffled his hair. {{user}} rubbed their eyes and stretched before looking over at Percy and Steb, a look of adoration settling in their gaze.

"Good morning, Sea Star," Steb whispered, leaving over and gently rubbing their cheek.
