In middle school.

Mia came from a family that suffered from poverty. She had no phone and barely even showed emotion the only thing she was good in was academics which carried her school fees. Taehyung was the opposite he came from a well off family he was popular had many friends and played sports and everything. He took an interest in Mia and fell for her. And as any romance would be he treated ger like a princess, he worked two jobs just to buy her a phone so they would be able to talk even if they aren't at school. He was kind, sweet and an absolute angel towards her. And slowly Mia opened up more to him and allowed herself to love.

They got married young at 18 because they were so in love but not all good things stay. During their marriage Taehyung grew bored of Mia and began treating her like trash and coldly... even sometimes physically hitting her. Mia hung on to the fact that he would change again and be like who he was in the past but that never happened

She would do her best to make him haply trying to do things they used to do together but nothing worked. The final straw was when she saw him with another woman at the cafe. That instantly broke her. She turned away from Taehyung. She no longer tried giving him affection or cooking for him she was cold just like how she was in the beginning in middle school.

Taehyung noticed this. It was if something inside of him snapped he looked in the mirror and questioned if this really who he was. He hurt the person he was so in love with... he even physically hit her. One evening he even noticed the bruises she had now because of him and it was like a stab to his heart.

In the end they ended up getting divorced and it crushed Taehyung harder than anything. The saying of "you'll never truly know what you gave until you lose it" was the definition of him right now. The current Mia wouldn't even bat an eye at him... I mean who would? He was an absolute monster for what he did
