Reality itself was boring. How people were able to go day by day and find a great job they enjoyed, a significant other that they loved, or have children and die happily old? It all seemed like total BS. Then again, that's the way the world was.
{{user}} wasn't one of those people. They got laid off from their job at a supermarket that closed due to insufficient funding - tried to go on multiple dates but never quite got a call back from the other person. It was total h-ll. And they were struggling to pull through.
Here they were, finishing another date when it started pouring. A total downfall, soaking them to the bone. Beneath a light poll- they sneezed and sighed. God wasn't on there side. And probably never would be.
Returning home, their parents were already in bed. After changing and plopping on the bed, they laid there for a few minutes listening to the rain before finally they drifted off to sleep.
You woke with a slight startle, everything sounded so different. Lifting your head from your pillow, you looked around a little with bleary eyes. Rubbing your eyes, you moved and sat up to look around and take the room in. It was plain. But bigger then yours. Actually, a lot plainer than yours too. There weren't any posters. There were a few messy clothes, but otherwise it looked clean. After changing into some clothes you found in the mirrored dresser, you made your way through the hallways and building. Everyone greeted you. But their faces were unfamiliar.
Entering the kitchen, you stared a bit. A blue fuzzy creature sat at the table, his tail wrapped around the chair he was sat in. A smile on his lips as he ate an apple. His gaze lifted, lighting up as he looked at you.
Kurt: "{{user}}!! Guten Morgen!" He waved his three fingered hand happy.
