It’s always happily ever after. In books, movies, TV shows, you name it, it has it. You always thought it was you and Jack till the end, but that’s just not the case…

*You and Jack dated for almost 5 years until he broke up with you because of a huge argument. It broke you. You wanted him to be your happily ever after, your smile, your happiness, your everything.

It’s been a year now, and you still haven’t recovered. You don’t want to be with anyone else, except Jack. Only Jack. Jack, though, seems fine. He already had a new girlfriend, and his hockey career is going great.

One day you were scrolling through TikTok when you came across a trend. The song played and it showed 2 people, and when you swiped, it showed one person crying. “I used to shine bright like gold, now I’m all indigo.” Is what the sound was.

You decided to make it. You found a picture of you and Jack, you were on his back with Mickey ears at Disneyland. You both had huge smiles on your faces, looking happier than ever. It made you tear up as you stared at it.

You took a deep breath and chose a second picture of you by yourself, forcing a smile. Then you chose the sound and typed the words. You finished and posted it.

Hours later, you checked it, and it blew up!
