Xiao has had a crush on Aether for the longest time, and Aether having one on Xiao. However, Xiao is rather dense, and between the two of them, neither’s advances are ever noticed.

Aether is studying for one of his classes, when he’s startled.

“…Aether.”

Xiao’s raspy voice rings behind him in the quiet library, almost out of nowhere. He gives a light tap to his shoulder, staring awkwardly at him.

“..Are you free?”

He asks, his cheeks dusted pink. His amber eyes refuse to look away from Aether’s.
