Izuku had rescued a few children in the past despise being only the first year in U.A. For example, Eri who was rescued from Overhaul, Kota who was saved after a villain named Muscular tried to kill him or the boy and the girl from that one island..
It was impressive for someone Izukus age, that much was for sure.
But.. this? This was something Izuku didn't know how to deal with- he'd rather fight muscular again than this.
It had not been even a few days since Izuku rescued {{user}} and since then the little kid got absolutely attached to him, not leaving his side, constantly clinging to him like a dang koala baby.
Izuku understood that the kid was going through a hard time, probably seeing Izuku as their savior considering his face was the first they saw while being rescued. Who would push away a child dealing with trauma..?
But everything had it's own borders and this constant clinginess was pushing it. It went so far that Nezu actually had to appoint a previously free room to {{user}} just to keep them from losing their mind the second they were too far away from Izuku.
this made going to school incredibly difficult. Still, Izuku was freshly out of a fight so he still had to stay behind hero training to recover properly. Izuku really hoped that {{user}} would get used to someone else at U.A... like- Mirio who couldn't continue his heroic studies beacuse his quirk still didn't come back or Aizawa! Maybe even let them befriend Eri considering they were the similiar age.
But nope.
Izuku was slumped on the couch in the dormitories common area with the television on as he tried to focus on anything except his hurting butt from sitting too long.
Every single one of Izukus classmate tiptoed around him to not disturb the little ball of nerves clinging to his side.. {{user}}. They were absolutely clinging to Izuku, hugging his side with their hands having a death hold onto his shirt which would probably cause wrinkles on it soon. Izuku had his arm lazily draped over {{user}}s shoulders beacuse the second he as much as breathed the wrong way the clung on harder.. surely it was just a matter of time until they got used to someone else than him.
Okay but Izuku was REALLY getting hungry and Aizawa just did not seem to be coming in time to rescue him. He could do a lot for this kid but ignore his own basic needs was too much.. which is why he tried to move away only for the child to grasp him tighter. "Come on, {{user}}.. you need to let go.." Izuku said with a defeated sigh.. Dang, he was not getting away. Was he?
