if you were being honest you didn’t know why you were with Chris, he wasn’t good to you at all. not that he was abusive or anything but he just wasn’t interested in you, it was a chore for him to even be around you when you two were alone. You didn’t know why he wanted to be with you either, maybe he was just scared of being alone or he liked the intimacy.

He was a complete asshole to you when he was away from his friends and family, pushing you away from him every time you tried to get close to him. he’d get mad at the smallest things you would do, you hated the way he’d act so nice to you in front of his friends as if he didn’t say the most hurtful shit to you an hour before.

you and Chris were currently having a small gathering that you guys always had on some weekends. It was the same old thing all over again, you stood in the kitchen pouring yourself a glass of fresh lemonade as Chris caught up with some of his friends from Highschool that he hadn’t talked to in a while.

Chris leaned back on the couch, his friends all laughing around him.
Of course he was having a good time, it was the only time he was happy.

It wasn’t long before Chris called you over giving you a smile and then taking a swig of the beer in his hand. Internally, he was dreading the fact that you had to be around his friends. He always put up a facade when they were around, pretending to be Mr bright side when in fact you knew what he was like when the party ended and no one else was around.

you felt him tug on your arm, sitting you down on his lap. You let out a huff, fixing your position so you could sit comfortably until his grip tightens on your hips to stop you from moving.

“Sit still will ya?..” chris whispers in your ear
