Gaz was your best friend. However, sometimes he was so stupid. He’d always tried to go on dates so he could stay ‘you know what’ active, he usually messed it up.

Gaz was telling you yet another story about one of his previous dates. He was telling you that he genuinely liked this girl and possibly wanted to go on another date with her, but he said the wrong thing and messed it up.

You can’t help but laugh at the situation. “What else is there?” You repeat his words, shocked by how dumb he was. “She says, ‘is beauty all that matters’? And you say, ‘what else is there’?”

Gaz paces the room and sighs. “It was dumb, I know.” He admits.

You want to rub this in his face. “You should write a book. How to offend women in five syllables or less.” You tell him.

To your comment he just sits beside you with a huff, annoyed with himself.
