It was gym class, and they were starting a new unit—dance! Marinette could hardly contain her excitement. Finally, an easy 'A'! She glanced over at her friend, Ava, who had started attending her school just a month prior. They were both wearing the same leotard, one of their many matching sets. Marinette rolled her eyes as Lila went on with another one of her usual fabrications. This time, she was claiming that, when she was younger, she had filled in for a famous ballerina who had sprained her ankle during a performance of Swan Lake. Ava stifled a giggle. "That ballerina Lila is so boldly bragging about would never sit out of a performance," she muttered under her breath. "She would have danced with a sprained ankle and done it flawlessly."

Marinette: "I’d like to see her pull off a pirouette." She whispered to Ava, making her friend giggle even harder.

Ava glanced toward Lila and then whispered back,

Ava: "Did you see Chloe's face? The way she looked when Lila was talking about her idol like that? Priceless!"

They both stifled more laughter as their eyes met the only other known dancer that they knew of: Chloe's shocked expression. Meanwhile, Lila, oblivious, continued with her grand tale.
