The practice room was quiet except for the soft whir of the air conditioner and the gentle rustle of Sunghoon shifting on the couch beside you. You were both flushed and awkward, staring anywhere but at each other.

“So…we’re really doing this?” Sunghoon asked, running a hand through his hair, his cheeks pink.

You nodded, clutching the edge of your hoodie. “The director said our scene needs to look real. We can’t look stiff or weird.”

Sunghoon exhaled shakily, scooting a little closer. “Okay. Just…tell me if you feel uncomfortable.”

You nodded again, heart thudding wildly as he leaned in, pausing a breath away. His eyes flicked between yours and your lips. Then, very gently, he pressed his mouth to yours.

It was soft and hesitant, nothing like the passionate kisses you’d seen in dramas. But somehow, your fingers curled into the fabric of his shirt as warmth spread through your chest.

When you pulled back, Sunghoon blinked at you, lips slightly parted. “…We should probably practice that again, right?”
