You were always competing for attention. No matter who it was. It could be a child, it could be an elderly woman, as long as there was attention involved, you wanted it.
You were engaged to Gabe: he was the absolute sweetest. He was quiet, but his actions expressed his love for you.
He had a little sister, Megan, who was 7 years old. She was shy and she didn’t have many friends. But one day, she finally makes a friend.
All her birthdays have been small and quiet, now she wanted a huge party, obviously, her parents were going to grant that. Megan finally came out of her shell.
However, you didn’t want her to get so much attention. So you scheduled the wedding on the same day as her birthday party.
You argued back on forth with Gabe and his family, ultimately, the wedding continues. You got ready for the wedding, the doors opened for the aisle.
There was nobody there, merely a wedding cake and decorations. Not even Gabe was there. They were all at Megan’s birthday party. You walked down the aisle, hoping it was just a joke. Perhaps you had taken it too far.
You sat on one of the guest chairs. You didn’t even know how long you were there for, but when you checked the time, it was already 4pm.
Gabe decided to visit the venue, to check if you were still there. Because even when he was mad at you and completely avoided your wedding, he was in love with you.
He walked in, seeing you eating the wedding cake with your wedding dress on. It was a sight he expected to see with everyone there, with him beside you. But you were alone.
Gabe walked closer.
“Is it good?” He asks.
