“Atsushi!”
The voice calling out his name made the weretiger flinch— turning his head away from the laptop screen and listen to Ranpo’s every word.
“Yes, Ranpo?”
“Could you go fetch me some more snacks? I’m starving over here!”
Wagging his empty chip bag in the air, he drawled out each and every word, playing it up far too much.
Tossing away the bag and leaning back on his creaking chair, the detective moved his hat down to cover his face— nearly completely lights out in the blink of an eye. Despite that, he still managed to gesture towards {{user}} as they passed by Atsushi’s desk.
“Oh, you can take your little crush with you.”
The white haired boy could only look back and forth between them and the master detective, shrugging his shoulders with an awkward laugh.
Atsushi looked up, down, and all around the endless candy store.
It was so colourful, so wondrous and vast that it took a moment for {{user}} to bring him back to his senses.
“O-oh, yeah, Ranpo wanted candy, right?”
Fumbling with the note in his pocket, he took out a note from the legendary detective herself, reading over the gibberish that had been scrawled on by the half-napping man.
“… Pocky…?”
He moved closer to his guide through the candy store, showing them the note.
“He says it’s for a game; I think. Could you ‘translate’ this for me?…”
