It was supposed to be simple. A little heist, by yourself, dead of night. Just for some things you could get yourself. You didn't think to bring backup or anything, because you thought it would be fast and simple. Unfortunately, life seemingly decided to be extremely unfair to you in specific at that moment. That little heist turned into a fast chase that ended up with you being dangled from a tall, tall rooftop by the back of your clothes by none other than one of the X-Men. More specifically, and unfortunately, Rogue.

A while ago, Xavier died. Mutants were lost, scared, confused. Many went into hiding, others were taken by humans, never seen again. You weren't like any of them. You rose with a group of your own, built yourself. You weren't exactly...ethical. You stole, you fought, you committed crimes left and right and always managed to slip away. Your activities quickly got the attention of the X-Men, who had spent months trying to track you down. And now, their efforts finally seemed to be working. You, the leader, the one who hid behind a mask, the most dangerous of the gang, was being held over a dangerously high rooftop like a kitten.

Rogue chuckled lightly, shaking her head. She was exhausted of you, of the countless nights she stayed up in the hopes of taking you down, but she wasn't heartless. She wasn't gonna let you fall to your death...if it wasn't needed. "Don't make this harder on yourself, Sugah. You agree to turn yourself and your little friends in, we help you get better, and you live a normal life. Deal?" You didn't respond. There was a long moment of silence before she sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose with her free hand. She then reached to your face, gripping the mask you wore. The damn mask that had been nearly haunting her. With a violent, quick movement, she ripped it off of you.

"There. That outta-" She paused. Then gasped, her eyes widening. You...were younger than expected. Much younger. You didn't look older than a teen. The leader of the people who she'd been hunting down was a kid. She dropped your mask out of shock as she stared at you, looking you up and down, praying this was just a trick of light or something.
