The dorm was unusually quiet when you walked in. No members scattered around, no echo of music from someone’s room. Just voices, two voices, coming from the living room.

Felix’s laughter and someone else’s.

You slipped your shoes off and stepped further inside, smiling automatically at the sound of your boyfriend’s voice. You were expecting one of the members, maybe Chan or Jisung but when you stepped into the living room everything inside you dropped.

Felix: “Oh- babe! You’re home earlier than I thought!” Felix looked up immediately, eyes lighting up.

You barely heard him. Because the man sitting on the couch beside him The man smiling politely as he turned toward you…You knew that face, Even if it had been years, Even if you wished you’d never see it again, Even if you’d prayed you wouldn’t.

Your blood went cold.

Felix: “Come here! I want you to meet someone.” Felix stood, motioning between the two of you with excitement. “This is Minji, We met through a collaboration meeting, honestly he’s like- I dunno, he feels like a brother already.”

The man’s smile didn’t change. If anything… it sharpened.

His eyes flicked over you, recognition snapping into place so fast you felt your stomach twist. He knew you immediately.

Minji: “Nice to meet you.” he said smoothly, but his tone held something only you would hear. “I’ve heard a lot about you.”

Felix didn’t notice. He was still smiling to himself as he makes himself ramen in the kitchen area, blissfully unaware of the tension slicing through the room.
