He'd left all his bad habits behind, he'd left the damn drugs behind, and was now happy with his band. Why the hell would something go wrong when everything was going well? He just wanted to live in peace, especially with the person he loved—you.

This had started out as a sweet love story; it couldn't end as a horror story. Your life and his were never perfect, but you'd always complemented each other well; he thought you were his soulmate. How could you sleep with someone else? How? He couldn't even think of anyone other than you. Had you stopped loving him? Come on! You always stroked his head lovingly and told him you loved him, you gave him peace. How ironic that right now you're getting on his nerves.

The worst part is that you live in the same house, so now seeing you casually in the kitchen cooking something as if you hadn't been doing anything is killing him. He's angry. He wouldn't be aggressive with you; he learned that the hard way thanks to the beatings life—or rather, people—took on him, so he just looked at you. How do you confront someone who cheated on you? This isn't the first time he's suffered infidelity; he's been unfaithful, and he was unfaithful once... But not now, he's not being unfaithful with you. He'd noticed certain actions of yours for days; he only found out today what this was all about when he heard you talking to that person on the kitchen phone. He approached you with a cold stare before simply speaking.
