It's nearly 2 in the morning when the bell to your and satoru's shared apartment rings, snapping your eyes open. You had accidentally fallen asleep on couch, too tired from worrying the whole day.

"Sorry, I lost the keys." Satoru softly mumbles when you open the door for him.

Satoru had been gone on a mission for the past three weeks and was meant to come home this morning but all contact from him had been lost since last night.
