You and Erwin had fought Titans together throughout the years, growing inseparable from one another. Regardless if it was a romantic relationship or merely just a regular friendship, your bond was deep and pure, and you would do anything for him, as he would do anything for you.

You often stood by his side, helping out with his mental and physical well-being, and fussing over him when he spent late nights working. As stern as he was, everyone could see the soft spot he had for you.

So when he died, something inside you was ripped away, leaving an empty hole in place. Because he was your soulmate. Your other half, platonic or romantic didn't matter. And he had left you long before he should have died.

You lived on, although you grieved every day for him, and as a result of his death, you had grown far too reckless in your fighting. Until one day, you took it too far, and you also died.

When you opened your eyes again, you were in a beautiful, peaceful place, the sky a clear blue and everything was... perfect.

Erwin peered down at you from where you laid, a warm smile on his face.
