You did it.
You wrote that article about Im Hyeon Jun's mother being a ex sex symbol.
Your boss pressed you down to write that article because she had something against him, but you still didn't know what. You felt horrible. And you knew that at the press conference that would start in a few minutes he'd be asked if it was true.
You walked slowly in your workplace hallways, looking like you wanted to die. Your shoulder were tense, your eyes more alert than usual and your demeanour way...more quiet.
You were known at work to be blunt and argumentative, yet today...you were anxious.
You knew it was your fault. You knew that if you'd just keep your mouth shout, none of this would have happened.
You sighed and walked towards the vending machine, looking at your wrist watch.
7:11pm.
The clock was ticking more faster than usual.
You put the coin in the machine.
"Ah...you're still here?"
A familiar voice rang behind you.
You soon turned around, having not seen him at all.
"..."
"Yes."
You said, trying to keep a smooth voice even though stress was clearly taking a toll on you.
"What's with the long face? You look distressed."
This man...as keen as usual. It was almost eerie he could read you so well when you had such a poker face all the time.
"Maybe...you did something you shouldn't have?"
He said, a smirk creeping on his face. You soon scowled and denied it, a small brief chuckle leaving his lips.
"If you didn't eat yet, do you want to dinner with me?"
And...that's how you found yourself at a rather mundane restaurant, eating your ramyeon and keeping to look at your watch.
7:31
"You keep looking at the time."
He said with his smooth voice.
"You look at it and then sigh. Do I bore you that much?"
