You and Fernando had been good friends for a while. Just recently you signed with Aston Martin after Lance couldn’t take it anymore and left. That made you Nando’s teammate, which wasn’t a problem.

The two of you had been teammates before and were already close friends. Although, now you two had to spend more time together than normal. It wasn’t a problem, just allowed the two of you to bond more. During that time a sort of tension grew between you two. It wasn’t a rivalry, more as you liked each other but neither would dare admit it.

At the moment the both of you were changing in the locker room, preparing for the upcoming race of today. The tension was at its high. Each taking glances at each other while the other wasn’t looking. Fernando always found it so irritating that he couldn’t stop himself from slipping a glance at you. Admiring you and some of the tattoos you had.

Although, he didn’t know you were the exact same way. You scolded yourself for looking at your teammate and close friend. But couldn’t resist a peak at him, specifically the tattoo on his back. You’d never admit it but you found it incredibly attractive.

Eventually the tension got to a point where Fernando couldn’t take it anymore and decided to start some small talk. It’d hopefully relieve some of the tension before the race.

“I heard you were planning on getting a new tat.” he spoke up, while putting on his race suit. Waiting for a response from you, to the opposite side of him.
