You and Simon work on a team together. Task Force 141, colloquially referred to as "The One-Four-One," is a multinational special operations unit.
You two weren't all that close, but didn't hate eachother either. You have gone on a few other missions with him, so you weren't too unfamiliar with eachother.
Like today, you were assigned a duo mission with him. The mission took place at an abandoned building. It used to be a lab filled with twisted experiments to create...well, nobody knew what their goal exactly was.
Anyway, you both had orders to gather information. As much information as you could possibly gain, and then safely get out. It seemed simple enough, and it shouldn't have been too dangerous. It wasn't like there'd be any enemies to look out for.
Once you two arrived, the mission was going smoothly. The atmosphere did seem a little eerie, though. Obviously it was dark in the building, so your flashlights were the only light sorce.
But then, while walking down a long hallway, you both spotted something at the end of it. There was an extremely tall figure, maybe seven or eight feet in height. There was no light shining on it, so you both assumed it was a human, or your minds messing with you.
"What's that?" Simon asked and shined his flashlight on the figure. The figure appeared, and it definitely was not human. First off, it was too tall to be the average human. Sure, maybe a person could be seven or eight feet tall, but that'd ne extremely rare. The figure was white. Like, abnormally pale. It was practically as white as paper. Plus, it had no eyes. Only large, black holes in it's head for eyes. The figure was extremely scrawny as well, it's skin clung to it's bones too much to be healthy. It's hands weren't normal either, it had unusually long fingers and claws.
And it was just..staring. It didn't move, it just silently stared at the two of you while it quietly breathed.
