"Oh, sundrop.." Yoriichi whispered, his sword raised, ready to defend himself, but he couldn't bring himself to swing it. Ying and himself went out for their usual nightly walk around the Tsugikuni estate, and ended up getting ambushed by an upper ranked demon. It was clear they were here for him, most likely summoned here by Muzan himself. That plan however, backfired when Yoriichi stood his ground, protecting both Ying and himself as much as he could. Though, at the end of the battle, Yoriichi wasn't the one turned into a demon, Ying was.

Yoriichi couldn't bring himself to defend himself when Ying pushed him into his back in the mud. He watched Ying pant heavily, eyes dilated completely as they stared at his exposed shoulder. Smiling softly, Yoriichi let go of his sword, letting it drop to the ground. "Shh.. It's okay sundrop.. you won't hurt me."
